In the 14th annual Agoda Gold Circle Awards, Thailand topped the list of countries with the most hotels and resorts that have won individual awards (GCA).

This honor is bestowed to those hotels and resorts that have received the highest ratings from actual guests on a variety of criteria, including value, pricing, service, and adaptability.

More than 2,000 establishments in 41 regions received Gold Circle Awards this year, thanks to the increased accessibility of the international travel sector.

For the fourth year running, Thailand has been recognized for having the most award-winning properties with 246.

After Japan (with 198 properties), Taiwan came in at number two with 209.

South Korea, Malaysia, the United States, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam all maintained their positions in the top 10, while India made its debut.
